The Online Spiritual Youth Shibir 2020

MUMBAI, 27 JUNE, 2020 (HPN): 
The Akshardham Swaminarayan Temple located in Powai organised an Online Youth Shibir for a period of two days which was attended online by over 250 youths from around the world. The Shibir hosted a number of activities which included spiritual discourses and Meditation Sessions conducted by the Temple Heads, P.P. Bharatbhai and P.P. Vashibhai. The Youths were also given the opportunity to present their views and share their experiences. As many of the youths shared, attending the Shibir made them feel like they were spiritually uplifted and blessed in the mere span of two days as the Shibir not only provided them with divine food for thought but also gave them a priceless guide on how they could effectively navigate in the day-to-day events of life. Webinar on International Yoga Day

MUMBAI, 26 JUNE, 2020 (HPN): On 21st June 2020 on account of International Yoga Day, Akshardham Swaminarayan Temple, Powai organised a program to address challenges for Post Covid-19 Scenario in the divine presence of P.P. Bharatbhai, P.P. Vashibhai and saint sisters. The program was conducted under the guidance and presence of renowned Yoga teacher Mr. Deepakbhai Parmar.

The program was also attended by Dr. Pranav Dutt, the Acharya of Atma Yog Foundation, Advocate Shri J.P. Shetty of the Jalaja Foundation and Police Inspector Shri. Kamble. The program began with the Lighting of the Lamps which was followed by the divine blessings of P.P. Bharatbhai and P.P. Vashibhai. Later on, under the guidance of the Yog Teacher, the participants of the program performed some specific Asanas.Dr. Niraj Dulara (M.D.) of Hiranandani Hospital, Powai, then gave an online lecture on Covid-19 and shared his valuable knowledge with the participants. ENDS

Blue Star raises Rs 350 crores through issuance of unsecured Non-Convertible Debentures

MUMBAI, 1st JUNE, 2020 (HPN): Blue Star Limited, India’s premier air conditioning and commercial refrigeration player has successfully completed the raising of Rs 350 crores through private placement of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The NCDs will be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market of National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE). The NCDs are unsecured and carry a coupon rate of 7.65% with a tenure of three years along with a call option at the end of two years with the Company for half of the NCD amount. The proceeds from the issue shall be primarily utilised for financing working capital, and for repayment of existing short term borrowings and business liabilities.

EID Parry ramps up capacity to manufacture Hand Sanitizers

Mumbai, June 1^st 2020 (HPN): EID Parry (India), part of the INR 369 Billion Murugappa Group announced the launch of a high-end hospital grade hand Sanitizer brandedHandKleen for the retail segment -an antiseptic liquid hand sanitiser comprising Ethanol (Denatured) and Chlorhexidine Gluconate topical solution, that will help address the increasing demand for Hand Sanitizers in the country.  HandKleen will be retailed through its existing retail network in the South and across the country through E-commerce channels. The Company has put in place a production capacity of 4.5 lakh litres per month (equating to about 1 million consumer packs per month). The Sanitizers are made of high-grade Ethanol that is produced in the integrated sugar units across the 3 southern states of TN, Karnataka and AP.  EID Parry is amongst the largest ethanol producers in South India.

The retail brand launch follows the early April launch of STERISAFE hand Sanitizer in bulk packs, specially developed for customers across various industries and institutions. The Company was amongst the first sugar manufacturers to produce and supply hand sanitizers when the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare allowed the production. As of today, deliveries have crossed 1 lakh litres to industrial users across South India.

HandKleen and STERISAFE are produced in accordance with DCA (Drugs Control Administration) norms and WHO specifications, after stringent efficacy tests in NABL approved test centres. Thegovernment’s current stipulated maximum pricing of Rs.0.50 paisa per ML is followed across the SKUs of both STERISAFE andHandKleen.
