Most undergraduate programs in the U.S. require four years of study, and this accelerated program saves students not only one year of time but also up to US $45,000 (over Rs. 25 lakhs), promising world-class educational experience. The first year of the program provides students a personal interest, values and skills assessment to identify a potential career track. Career research, job shadowing preparation and informational visits to area businesses also comprise the first year of the program.
Students will be learning how to create winning resumes and cover letters and how to ace interviews during the second year of the Business Scholars program. Job shadowing experiences also begin during this phase. All students will be given the opportunity to take part in a summer internship at an area business during the summer between years two and three. Pacific students have interned at several corporate giants such as NIKE and Intel in the past, and those in this new Business Scholars program may have similar opportunities.
